SALARY STRUCTURE
The salary for Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre at the State Bank of India (SBI) is governed by the 12th Bipartite Settlement and follows a structured pay scale with allowances, perks, and deductions. The starting basic pay is Rs. 26,730 (Rs.24,050 base plus two advance increments for graduates), and the maximum basic pay reaches 64,480 over 20 years of service. The total starting emoluments in metro cities like Mumbai are approximately Rs. 46,000 per month, inclusive of Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances at current rates. After deductions, the in-hand salary is around Rs. 39,500–Rs. 42,500, varying by posting location (higher in metros, lower in rural areas). Allowances may fluctuate based on inflation and location, and selected candidates are eligible for provident fund, New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), medical reimbursement, leave-fare concessions, and other facilities as per bank instructions.
