The process typically includes at least two online rounds and a final open/spot round for any remaining vacancies.
CUT-OFFS
For the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam 2026, there are two types of cut-offs: the minimum qualifying marks required to be eligible for seat allocation and the expected closing ranks based on previous trends.
1. Minimum Qualifying Marks (Category-wise)
To be considered for the merit list and subsequent counselling rounds, you must score a minimum percentage in the entrance exam:
General / EWS: 50%
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 45%
SC / ST: 40%
2. Expected Cut-Off Marks for Admission
While the qualifying marks are fixed, the actual score needed to secure a seat depends on competition and exam difficulty. Experts predict the following "safe scores" out of 100:
General (UR): 69+ marks
OBC: 66+ marks
EWS: 60+ marks
SC: 55+ marks
ST: 50+ marks
3. Expected Final Closing Ranks
The closing rank represents the last rank admitted to any AIIMS campus in previous years. For 2026, the estimated closing ranks are:
General: 1,800 – 2,000+
OBC: 2,500+
EWS: 4,000+
SC: 7,000+
