The LBS Centre for Science and Technology (LBS Centre for Science and Technology) has opened the application window for the Kerala State Design Aptitude Test (KS DAT) 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal.

The last date to submit the application form is June 5, 2026.

Purpose of KS DAT 2026

KS DAT is conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme offered by various participating institutes across Kerala.

Application Fee

Candidates can pay the application fee online using debit card, credit card, or net banking:

• Rs 1,300 for General category

• Rs 650 for SC/ST candidates

Certificate Validity Guidelines

The validity of required certificates will be considered as per the application deadline:

• Non-creamy layer certificate: Valid for 1 year

• Income certificate: Valid for 1 year

• Community certificate: Valid for 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for KS DAT 2026, candidates must:

• Have completed 10+2 or equivalent from Higher Secondary Education Kerala or any recognised board approved by Kerala Technological University (KTU), as per All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms

• Secure at least 45% marks (General category)

• Secure at least 40% marks (Reserved categories)

Applicants should keep the following documents ready while filling out the application form:

• SSLC certificate or proof of date of birth

• Nativity certificate

• Academic records (mark sheets or hall ticket)

• Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)

• Community certificate (if applicable)

• Inter-caste certificate (if applicable)

• PwD certificate (if applicable)

• Medical fitness certificate

• Income certificate (if applicable)

• EWS certificate

• Any other documents specified in the official notification

• Click on “New Registration”

• Enter the required details

• Click on “Save & Continue” and pay the application fee

• Upload all necessary documents

• Submit the application form
