Description

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 application correction facility has been activated. Candidates who have already submitted their application forms can now make necessary modifications by visiting the official portal.

The examination is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission. Applicants are advised to carefully review their submitted details and correct any errors within the given correction period.

Importance of the correction window

The correction window is a one-time opportunity for candidates to rectify mistakes in their application forms. Once the deadline passes, no further edits will be permitted under any circumstances.

Earlier, the application deadline for UPTET 2026 was extended due to technical issues related to the One Time Registration (OTR) system.

One Time Registration (OTR) mandatory

For UPTET 2026, the One Time Registration system has been made compulsory for all applicants. Under this system, candidates were required to:

  • Fill in their basic personal information

  • Generate a unique OTR ID

This OTR ID is now essential for logging in and making changes to the application form.
