The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 on its official portal exams.nta.nic.in/NCET.

Along with the answer key, the agency has also released the question papers and recorded responses of candidates who appeared for the examination. This allows students to cross-check their answers and estimate their probable scores.

The NCET 2026 exam was conducted on April 17 and 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various centres in India. A total of around 73,608 candidates took part in the examination.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key have the option to raise objections. A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question is applicable for each challenge submitted.

As per the official schedule, the objection window remained open from April 28 to April 30, 2026, until 11:50 PM. No challenges are accepted after the deadline, and objections will only be considered if the payment is successfully completed through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

If any challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the final result will be prepared based on the updated key. However, candidates will not be individually informed about whether their objections are accepted or rejected. The final answer key determined by subject experts will be considered conclusive.

NTA has also clarified that if an answer is revised due to a valid challenge, the updated response will be applied uniformly to all candidates who attempted that question.

• Click on the “Answer Key Challenge” or related link.

• Log in using application number, password, and captcha.

• View the question paper and answer key.

• Download the document for reference.

• First visit official website.

• Click on “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key”

• Log in with your credentials

• Select the question(s) you wish to challenge

• Upload supporting documents (if required) in PDF format

• Confirm and submit your claim

• Pay Rs 200 per question through online payment modes
