Interview and selection process:

The interview phase was conducted between February 26 and March 23, 2026. A total of 21 shortlisted candidates did not appear for the interview.

The final selection has been prepared based on candidates’ performance in both the written exam and interview. Out of the total vacancies, 15 posts remain unfilled due to the absence of suitable candidates. These include:

  • 1 post of Administrative Officer

  • 14 posts of Administrator

These vacancies will be carried forward in accordance with the existing recruitment rules.

Deputy Jailor result criteria

The Commission clarified that the result for the Deputy Jailor post has been determined solely on the basis of the written examination. Additionally, some candidates who qualified but did not attend the interview have been marked as provisionally selected.

This provisional status has been assigned due to inconsistencies in documents such as educational qualifications or category details when compared with original records. Final selection will depend on successful verification during a separate document validation process.

Cut-off marks and scorecards

The Commission will soon release detailed marks, along with category-wise and post-wise cut-off scores, on its official website. It has also stated that requests under RTI for such information will not be accepted.
