The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 registration process has officially begun. The exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture.

Candidates can submit their applications through the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.

Important dates

The board has released the key schedule for the exam:

1. Registration begins: March 10, 2026

2. Last date to apply: April 5, 2026

3. Application correction window: April 7–9, 2026

4. Admit card release: May 15, 2026

5. Exam date: May 24, 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their application before the deadline.

Eligibility criteria

To apply for WBJEE 2026:

1. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12

2. Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects

3. One additional subject such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Computer Science is required

4. Minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved categories

5. Minimum age 17 years.

Offline exam mode

The WBJEE exam will be conducted in offline OMR-based mode and is a state-level entrance test for admission to government and private engineering colleges in West Bengal.

3. Register with your email address and mobile number.
