Description

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the examination schedule for the NDA and NA Examination (I), 2026. Candidates planning to appear for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examinations can check the detailed timetable on the official UPSC website.

As per the official notification, the NDA & NA Exam I 2026 will be conducted on April 12, 2026. The examination will take place in two sessions. The Mathematics paper will be held in the morning session from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the General Ability Test (GAT) in the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

The Mathematics paper will carry 300 marks with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, while the General Ability Test will be of 600 marks and will also be conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Both papers will consist of objective-type questions only.

Candidates can follow the steps below to view and download the exam schedule:

  • First visit the UPSC official website

  • Now click on the link on the homepage.

  • The exam schedule will appear on the screen.

  • Download the document and take a printout for future reference.

Through this recruitment process, UPSC aims to fill 370 vacancies in the National Defence Academy and 24 vacancies in the Naval Academy under the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme. Candidates are advised to visit the official UPSC website for further updates and detailed information.
